  Julie Bishop met with the arab league, but says she is doing a good job of dealing with the issue.

  Bishop said she met in December with NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg, who had been "the most aggressive and passionate" person in attempting to get the clubs involved.
  
  "I've always held to the position that they need to provide real support for the young rugby league players to come in and be part of the culture of the club in that they need to be prepared to leave all the debt they have been given on the table,'' Bishop said.
  
  "I don't feel that they have the means to offer that yet and I believe it is a little bit unfair that we're just playing football for the club."
  
  New South Wales Rugby League said the league was already working closely with clubs through its clubs program to promote rugby league in schools and ensure any potential new or existing player was provided with the best possible education.
  
  Bishop has been the most vocal supporter of NRL clubs since taking over as head of the association last year.
  
  She announced an end of season award for players to use towards a full school education plan on March 28.
  
  It included some scholarships for players on the rugby league board of directors, but many players who had already been in the game for five or more years had not been granted any of the awards.
  
  After the announcement, Bishop met with NRL officials at NRL headquarters in Newcastle.
  
  "I was delighted to meet again with the NRL president, president David Smith, the chairman of the union office, and everyone in that room who had been behind the NRL's decision about the awards,'' she said.

  Despite that, the team knows it will need to maintain its quality in the first half of the season to go in the playoffs.
  
  "All this is our challenge and it takes time, especially with all this momentum we've had since the last game. It's up to everyone within this group, from our players and staff to the coaches and it takes time for every individual to gain that confidence and then all of a sudden we get on the track and play in front of the home crowd every week."
  
  This is one of the biggest games of the year so for the senior team it is crucial that they come through with a strong showing.
  
  "We can look back and say, 'Well, we went out there and we didn't put anything together'. In my opinion, we've just got to keep working hard and keep building our football. We're going to be working for it."

  Adelaide court closed over fire incident in Woden, south of Adelaide
  
  Adelaide Police Commissioner Graham Ashton said three vehicles on the police motorcade were set alight at a stoplight as they approached the intersection of Thedford Road and Elbereen Street at about 3pm.
  
  Three occupants had been arrested but the police were not looking for a person of interest, the Commissioner said.
  
  He said the driver of a Hyundai, which was believed to be involved in the incident, had sustained major injuries and been taken to the hospital.
  
  "The matter is under investigation," he said.
  
  "It could have happened as early as Thursday night. It could be up to yesterday evening and we would like to make it known to people that they would expect police assistance if they have any concerns."
  
  'It is horrific'
  
  A witness told Channel Seven she saw the incident.
  
  "I thought it was normal traffic, it wasn't a threat, like anything out of the ordinary," she said.
  
  "People were coming to work to see the flag fly, it was very calm."

  Raula's husband David Raula said the girl had been on medication for her anxiety and had been under close observation since December 2016, but it was too late.
